Paul Prabhaker, Ph.D. Associate Dean at Northern Illinois University’s College of Business
Biography: Dr. Prabhaker joined the NIU College of Business in 2007 and currently serves as associate dean. Prior to his current assignment, Dr. Prabhaker was the dean of a business school in the University of North Carolina system and for several years, the associate dean at the Illinois Institute of Technology's Stuart School of Business. He has taught courses in Business/Marketing Strategy, Marketing Research, Marketing Management and Technology Commercialization primarily for graduate and corporate/executive students. Dr. Prabhaker is well known for his contributions to the broad art of technology-enabled business strategy. His research has been published in the fields of Marketing Strategy driven by Manufacturing Technologies; Information Integrity enabled Business Strategies; Call-Center Technology enabled Marketing Strategy; e-Business Strategy and Value-based marketing. He has also presented his research in numerous academic conferences in the US and in several European and Asian countries. Dr. Prabhaker earned a PhD in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Quantitative Methods.
Joe Cullinane, Founder of Strategic Artistry, a Silicon Valley strategy company.
Biography: Based in California's Silicon Valley, Joe Cullinane is an executive advisor, consultant, educator, speaker and author. Joe Cullinane is the founder of Strategic Artistry, a Silicon Valley strategy company. He is a business strategist with international experience in sales and marketing, business development, teaching and executive coaching. He has held executive and sales roles at leading global technology companies including Xerox Corporation, NCR Corporation and Diversified Software. Joe founded the Telum Group and has worked extensively with entrepreneurs and managers as an executive coach. Joe’s teaching experience includes three years as an Executive-in-Residence for Northern Illinois University in the College of Business. Joe has been an instructor at the Keller Graduate School of Management, Aurora University and taught marketing classes at IAE Bordeaux, France. He has an MSC degree from Northwestern University, MBA from Dominican University and a BS in Marketing from Northern Illinois University. Joe has conducted numerous workshops and presentations for businesses, universities and trade associations, worldwide. Professor Peter D’souza has taught food and beverage courses at the University of Wisconsin-Stout for the past 28 years. Stout is known for its experiential and innovative philosophy of instruction and is a
national leader in its programs. His expertise is in the area of full-service restaurant management, culinary management, wines and spirits, wine and food pairing, and professional dining etiquette.
Peter is also the director of "Rendezvous", a full service restaurant managed and operated by senior students in the Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management program.
