Wine & Cheese Vacation Package:
Wine & Cheese Tour, Artisan Meat & Cheese Market Trips around the Bordeaux region with French Cook Julien Martel & Wine tasting tours in the Graves, Bordeaux Supérieur, and St. Emilion Vineyards with 3 cooking classes + indoor & outdoor market trips for ingredients. 2 person minimum requirement.
Includes: 5 nights, 3 half-day cooking classes with meals and wine, 3 wine tours with 1 lunch in the vineyard in St. Emilion and transportation for all tours, and trip to the Bazas open market with an artisanal jam tasting made from Bordeaux grapes. 2 person minimum requirement.
Grape Harvest Adventure Package: (Reserve any time between the 8th of Sept. – 15th of Oct., 2014)
If you call yourself a "wine-o," wine lover, wine aficionado, gourmet or gourmand this wine harvest adventure is for you! A true wine lover’s delight – 2 day wine harvesting, grape pressing, blending + hands-on wine & food cooking classes, dinner in the vineyard with the wine makers, wine tours in the Graves region, goat cheese tasting and a Foie gras tour at our very own Foie gras Cooperative (Palmagri) along with lunch at the Restaurant Absolu.
Includes: 5 nights accommodations, two-days of grape harvesting, five course feast in the vineyard w/the wine makers, two half/day cooking classes, 3 wine tours & transportation, goat cheese tasting, 1 Foie gras cooperative tour + lunch, breakfast daily.
Traditional French Country Cooking Package:
Celebrate the culinary traditions of the French peasant with a French country getaway of five nights with three diverse hands-on cooking classes teaching traditional French country recipes of the area, a Sauternes wine tour and cheese tasting with Julien then feel like a local with our very special local farm tours (saffron, goat cheese, duck, escargot) & tastings, a visit to our favorite open market and then lunch on the Terrace at les Remparts in the famous town of Bazas!
Includes: 5 nights, welcome five course dinner with local wine, 3 half-day cooking classes with meals and wine, 1 day wine tour with lunch/cheese tasting and transportation, and local farm tours & tastings, Bazas market trip and lunch at les Remparts, breakfast daily.
3 Night Special: Oct. – May, 2015 - Thursday thru Sunday
Arrive to our mythical Thursday night wine & cheese & charcuterie tasting, the next day join Julien & feel like a local on a tour of the Langon open market & lunch in town, on Saturday enjoy a wine tasting & tour followed by lunch at ‘L’abricotier” in the hidden fortified town of St. Macaire, and on Sunday enjoy a half day cooking class including wine & meal! Daily breakfast included.

Satisfy your sweet tooth with Rouge Bordeaux’s famous French dessert cooking experience. You will learn how to prepare from scratch 3 classic French desserts using fresh, seasonal produce and how to pair them with France's world famous Sauternes wine. Dream about your favorite French delight paired with wine from Chateaux Climens, Chateau Broustet, & our favorite hidden gem, Chateau Roumieu Lacoste. Enjoy 3 morning creating desserts such as Crême brulée, dark chocolate Tarte, passion fruit Soufflé, and an amazing lemon Meringue pie (deconstructed). Julien will guide you through the recipes and give you some great tips in making these classic French desserts. After the class you can eat your tasty desserts paired with a specific vintage of Sauternes. And the icing on the cake, you become a connoisseur of what may be one of the best parts of French culture.
